Masks for New Hampshire to Supply 20,000 Masks Per Day to New Hampshire Healthcare Organizations | SoClean

Peterborough, NH – A private and philanthropic-sector initiative to supply at least 250,000 masks to New Hampshire healthcare facilities launched this week with an initial donation to Monadnock Community Hospital and Cheshire Medical Center. The effort, dubbed “Masks for New Hampshire,” is being led by SoClean and an impressive group of private donors. The group has plans to provide upwards of 20,000 masks a day to the small healthcare communities in dire need of supplies. SoClean, which has operations worldwide, has worked to source upwards of 250,000 additional masks with 20,000 scheduled to arrive on Saturday April 4.

“The shortage of personal protective equipment for New Hampshire healthcare workers is alarming and growing daily. We have the means to get some of these critical supplies to them and are doing our part to help support the New Hampshire healthcare facilities that are affected most,” said Robert Wilkins, CEO of SoClean.

“Masks for New Hampshire” is focusing on New Hampshire communities affected by this shortage. Medical facilities in New Hampshire communities need a great deal of supplies according to Eric Burbank, Vice President of Operations at SoClean. Burbank has received dozens of calls from New Hampshire healthcare representatives desperate to be included on the distribution plan, all citing the urgency of their needs. He is working with both the NH Department of Homeland Security and representatives from over 50 New Hampshire healthcare facilities to arrange donations and deliveries.

“I applaud the efforts of those in the private sector who are working with SoClean, a great New Hampshire employer, to source and distribute thousands of masks to New Hampshire’s health care workers that are on the front lines,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “The people of New Hampshire are coming together to help our health care workers stay healthy and safe, and I can’t thank the folks at SoClean enough for these contributions.”

“Masks for New Hampshire” is focused on filling the gap between now and April 17, and get masks to New Hampshire while larger traditional supply chains get up and running,” said John Gargasz, who is managing this much needed effort with a diverse group of resources.

In addition to SoClean, various New Hampshire donors include the Wilkins family, the Pierson family, the Gargasz family, the Daly Family, Borealis Ventures, Jeremy and Liz Hitchcock, and anonymous donors. All have donated to support this effort in an amount that is in excess of $200,000, and growing every day. If you're interested in making a donation, please fill out and submit our webform
