Better Rest Solutions Donates $7,325 to American Sleep Apnea Association in Support of Sleep Apnea Awareness Day
Better Rest Solutions is thrilled to announce that we recently donated a total of $7,325 to the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) in recognition of Sleep Apnea Awareness Day, which was on April 18th.
From April 15th through May 15th, we donated $5 to the ASAA for every SoClean® 2 CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer purchased during that time period. We’d like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest thanks to each and every one of our customers who helped us commemorate this important event.
As we’ve mentioned previously on this blog, sleep apnea affects upwards of 18 million Americans. The ASAA – an organization that promotes awareness of sleep apnea and advocates for the interests of those who suffer from this disorder – established Sleep Apnea Awareness Day to honor Dr. Colin Sullivan, the inventor of the Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine.
CPAP therapy is one of the most common methods of treatment for sleep apnea, but keeping CPAP equipment clean can be time consuming. The SoClean® 2 automates this process, effectively eliminating 99.9% of CPAP mold, bacteria and viruses. This ensures that the CPAP machine is functioning properly and that users aren’t breathing in harmful pollutants.
Thanks again to everyone who helped us commemorate Sleep Apnea Awareness Day and support the ASAA!
